WEDNESDAY WAKE-UP CALL for 05/09/2012

The New World Creative Union (NWCU) is pleased to present this opportunity for you to explore and share your creativity with other members of the NWCU and the world, and perhaps be designated as a weekly or monthly redipient of our NWCU Award of Creativity!
As we are all well aware, art is going multi-media and multi-dimensional these days. So, here's an opportunity for you to exercise your creative muscles, and show your creativity and talent to the world.
Take whatever form of artistic work you like to do, whether it’s painting, poetry, photography, prose, sculpting, sketching, et cetera, and take it to the next level by combining it with another/other art form(s).
For example, I started a short while back designing ‘triplets.’ Triplets consist of an image, poem, and video that reflect and enhance one another. I felt it made my writing more three-dimensional to the reader, and I have gotten quite a few favorable comments back from those seeing them. So, feel free to explore, experiment, innovate, and perhaps develop a new form of expression in whatever you do.
Each Wednesday we will be spotlighting a topic, quote, or perhaps something else for you to demonstrate your creativity. You may use ‘any’ art form, or combination of art forms you chose to express your interpretation of a spotlighted subject.
The Wake-Up Wednesday feature will open at 8:00 a.m. each Wednesday morning, EDST and continue through  Sunday morning, until 8:00 a.m. EDST, when it closes. This will give everyone plenty of time to compose, post, view each other's contributions, and give a Google+ to the posts that one may like. It is from the total number of Google+ endorsements that a post receives, that a weekly and monthly award will be given.
This week’s subject for you to be creative with is a quote from Arthur William Edward O’Shaughnessy, “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.”
So, here's how to participate, if you haven't done so before with other groups:
• Post your creative post to your blog.
• Copy your post link.
• Click on our Mr.Linky button. Here you will be prompted to paste your post address, enter your name, and click submit. You are in!
• Now the fun begins! Revisit Mr. Linky to search out other creatives who have been motivated to participate in our of Wednesday Wake-Up Call.
• Visit their links, liking, commenting, and clicking on the Google+ to vote for a post that you particularly resonate to.
The individual who accumulates the most number of Google+ votes at the end of the 3 day open period will be designated the: New World Creative Union ~ Weekly Designate ~ Award of Creativity. The designate may post an award badge on his or her blog and/or site if the person so choses, to let everyone know they have received this Award of Creativity.
At the end of the month, the numbers will be tallied from all the weekly designates and a New World Creative Union ~ Designate of the Month ~ Award of Creativity will be selected. The monthly designate may post an award badge on his or her blog and/or site if the person choses.
Best wishes to all on our voyage into creativity!
Best regards,
Natasha and Roger

  6. Ok, I'm in.

So, I'm a very bad poet. Is fiction or songwriting ok? I can right those with some aplomb.
